Activity 1:
The video clip used in activity one is very age appropriate. The students can engage and relate with the scenarios discussed in the video about each of the five senses. The corresponding worksheet allows the students to use what they have learnt form the video creating deeper knowledge of the topic.

Activity 2:
This set of activities allows the students to engage and use their senses practically both inside and outside the classroom. The group work allows the students to compare and learn from each other. The teacher must be present for this activity to ensure that the materials are being used properly and that the students are engaging in the tasks correctly. There are five stations in this activity, where each group is to rotate; one group per station. The provided worksheet should be given and explained to the students, they are to fill it out and carry it with them as they progress through the stations.

Activity 3:
The final activity enables the students to process what they have learn over the last two lessons and put these senses into action. It enables the students to use their cognitive skills to to develop their drawing of the environment around them. Their final work will be collected by the teacher and assessed according to the 'Assessment Rubric' below*. It assesses their ability to apply their senses accurately and describe their findings. Once completed, the students can take their drawings home or hang them around the classroom to show their work.
