Activity 2: This set of activities allows the students to engage and use their senses practically both inside and outside the classroom. The group work allows the students to compare and learn from each other. The teacher must be present for this activity to ensure that the materials are being used properly and that the students are engaging in the tasks correctly. There are five stations in this activity, where each group is to rotate; one group per station. The provided worksheet should be given and explained to the students, they are to fill it out and carry it with them as they progress through the stations.

It enables the students to use their cognitive skills to to develop their drawing of the environment around them. Their final work will be collected by the teacher and assessed according to the 'Assessment Rubric' below*. It assesses their ability to apply their senses accurately and describe their findings. Once completed, the students can take their drawings home or hang them around the classroom to show their work.
